It is a 21 month course that has been designed for all those who have completed their graduation and wish to work in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors. Students will be competent enough to work with any global financial institution at any role.
The course has been designed with a one of a kind 3 day structure. Students will be taught only on 3 days of the week, i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday OR on Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Students can work on the other 4 days and earn during the 21 months of the course. This allows students to earn and support themselves even while they are studying. This has been designed keeping in mind the student requirements in Frankfurt, Germany.
The course has been divided into 4 semesters. The 1st semester would be held in Mumbai. The 2nd and the 3rd semester would be held in Frankfurt and the final semester would be in a partner university of Germany’s Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
For the 4th semester, students can choose to study in Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Africa based Universities who have partnered with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Studying in a country of your choice will be managed through the offices of the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
All students will be provided with accommodation in a major part of the city during the entire duration of the course in Frankfurt.
The course is primarily structured around International Finance, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Financial Accounting and Financial Advisory. The course has been ranked amongst the top 20 Finance courses in the World as per Financial Times in the “Masters in Finance Pre-Experience 2016”. This puts the course in the same league as Finance courses offered by Universities like Harvard, Cambridge, Yale, Stanford and the London School of Economics.
The course is designed around subjects like Statistics, Financial Products, Macro Economics, Econometrics, Financial Analysis, Equity Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Foundations, Risk Management, Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Financial Engineering, Default Models, Risk Management, Debt Markets, Corporate Valuation, Credit Derivatives, Risk Modelling, Corporate Finance, Derivative Analysis, Corporate Finance and Financial Modelling.
All the 4 semesters will be taught in English. Students will be given career counselling sessions that allow them to make an informed career decisions. Students will also be able to take advantage of industry fairs and visits that allow them to interact with corporates and the industry. This is essential for students to network and get themselves introduced and ready for placements.
On completing the course, students will be getting an 18 month work search visa, .i.e. they can stay in Germany for 18 months till they get a job. The stringent selection criteria has ensured that only the best students are admitted to the course and are able to land lucrative jobs in Germany after completing the course. The average salary that a student earns on completing the course is Euro 50,000/ $ 54,000/ Rs 35,18,000. Students are placed in major financial institutions like Financial Service companies, Financial Consultants, banks, Private Equities, Investment Banks and Fund Houses.
